Competitive advantages include:

• Unique quality of care provision blending peer and CAM knowledge in a bid to find workable solutions to health issues and the associated problems experienced. This form of care provision builds essential bonds and strengthens ties between individuals by fostering a sense of belonging and creating strong, active and connected communities
• Group discussion of patient case management between CAM providers to devise a tailor made package of care for each patient in the scheme. These discussions form an ongoing assessment of effectively combining therapeutic treatments with peer mentoring.

HHC opening times are set at 10am-2pm for patients in receipt of full social security entitlement; all services are provided to these patients without cost however as funding has not been secured yet a donation to the health centred is asked before accessing facilities.

HHC will not refuse treatment to working residents within Gateshead.

HHC intends to offer treatments between 3pm-7pm to those not in receipt of benefit at a cost of £40 for each holistic assessment and each eduational development session and £40 for each CAM therapeutic treatment.

Residents in receipt of working tax credits, classed as earning a low income, will be able to attend at their convenience and are expected to pay half price for treatments with the tariff for each holistic assessment and peer mentoring session set at £20 and each therapeutic treatment set at £25.
